Pandas are believed to be around 3 million years old and are a part of the bear family. Their scientific name is Ailuropoda Melanoleuca.
Their diet mostly consists of bamboo, and they can eat from 26 to 84 pounds of it in one day.
Pandas mostly live in temperate forests that are high in mountains located in southwest China.
